This Privacy Policy explains how PsychicOz Inc. (“PsychicOz,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you visit PsychicOz.com, create an account, purchase or provide a reading, contact customer service or otherwise use our websites, applications and communications systems (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy applies to visitors, clients, psychic applicants and psychics. It should be read with the PsychicOz Terms and Conditions and Payment, Billing and Refund Policy.
PsychicOz Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. Privacy questions and requests may be directed to our Privacy Officer using the contact information at the end of this Policy.
The information we collect depends on how you use the Platform and may include:
Please avoid sharing information that is not needed for a reading or support request. Reading content may reveal sensitive personal information depending on what you choose to discuss.
We collect information directly from you when you register, update a profile, make a purchase, request or provide a reading, submit a review, contact us or exercise a privacy right.
We also collect information automatically through cookies, logs and similar technologies, and may receive information from payment processors, identity-verification providers, telecommunications services, fraud-prevention providers, analytics services and other vendors supporting the Platform.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. When payment information is entered directly into a provider’s secure payment interface, PsychicOz does not receive or store the full payment-card number. We may receive a payment token, card brand, last digits, expiration information, billing location, transaction status and fraud or verification results.
Available payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Each provider may process information under its own privacy policy. PsychicOz uses transaction information for authorization, account funding, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting and legal compliance.
PsychicOz may store online chat messages, email-reading requests and responses, related attachments, support communications and session metadata to deliver services, maintain account history, investigate complaints, prevent fraud and enforce platform rules.
For phone and video readings, we may collect connection information, participants, timestamps, duration, rate, device or connection diagnostics and session status. PsychicOz does not record the audio or video content of a session unless a clear notice is provided and any consent required by law is obtained before recording begins.
Psychics may access information reasonably necessary to provide a requested reading. Psychics must keep client information confidential, must not request unnecessary personal information and must not use reading information outside the Platform except as authorized or legally required.

Depending on the applicable law and purpose, we process information because it is necessary to perform a contract, complete a transaction, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, establish or defend legal claims, protect vital interests, or because you have given consent.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

PsychicOz uses cookies and similar technologies for essential account functions, login sessions, security, fraud prevention, preferences, analytics, performance and, where enabled, advertising measurement.
Where required, non-essential technologies are used only after consent. You may adjust available cookie controls or browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, payment or reading features from working correctly.
Some browsers support Global Privacy Control. Where legally required and technically recognized, PsychicOz treats a valid signal as an opt-out request for that browser or device.
We may send marketing emails or messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by changing available account preferences.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary account, security, payment, reading, support or legal communications.
Psychic profile information intended for public display may include a profile name, photograph, specialties, biography, experience, tools, availability, rates and reviews. Psychics should not place private contact information in public profile fields.
Published reviews may display the reviewer name or identifier selected by the Platform. Reviews should not contain private information about the client, psychic or another person. More information appears on the Client Reviews page.
PsychicOz is based in British Columbia, Canada. Psychics, clients and service providers may be located in Canada, the United States and other countries. Personal information may therefore be processed outside your province, state or country and may be subject to lawful access under local law.
When required, PsychicOz uses contractual, organizational and technical measures intended to protect information transferred internationally, including appropriate transfer terms for information originating in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements and meeting legal obligations.
Retention depends on the type and sensitivity of the information, the account relationship, applicable limitation periods, payment-provider rules and legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify or securely isolate it, subject to reasonable backup cycles and lawful exceptions.
PsychicOz uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information, which may include encryption in transit, access restrictions, authentication controls, monitoring, secure service providers and incident-response procedures.
No online system is completely secure. Users should use a strong unique password, protect their devices and promptly report suspected unauthorized account access.

Canadian privacy laws may give you the right to request access to personal information under PsychicOz’s control, ask how it has been used or disclosed, challenge its accuracy and submit a complaint.
British Columbia residents may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. Other Canadian residents may have rights through the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or an applicable provincial authority.
Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe a violation occurred.
Residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling.
PsychicOz does not sell personal information for money. If advertising technologies used on the Platform constitute “sharing,” “sale” or targeted advertising under applicable law, eligible users may submit an opt-out request using available privacy controls or the contact methods below.

Describe the right you wish to exercise and identify the account involved. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to verification of authorization and the account holder’s identity.
You may request account closure or deletion of eligible information. Closing an account does not require deletion of information that PsychicOz must or may retain for transactions, taxes, fraud prevention, security, disputes, legal claims, regulatory requirements or enforcement of agreements.
The Platform is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher. PsychicOz does not knowingly offer accounts or paid readings to children. If we learn that an ineligible person provided personal information, we may close the account and delete the information unless retention is legally required.
The Platform may link to or integrate services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. PsychicOz is not responsible for an independent third party’s website or service.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, services or privacy practices. The revised Policy will display a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
